Welcome to WWAACC
The Western Wisconsin Autism Advocacy & Consulting Center, Inc. (WWAACC) is a non-profit organization developed by parents & family members of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
WWAACC's goal is to empower, educate and support families, caregivers, educators, and service providers of children with ASD, and to provide resources and information in order for parents to make informed decisions regarding the needs of their child.
While our organization targets families in the Western Wisconsin area, we hope our website may also be a helpful to any families struggling to find the right resources for their children with ASD.
WWAACC is not a legal services agency and cannot provide legal advice or legal representation. Any information on this website is not intended as legal advice and should not be used as a substitution for legal advice.

Want to become a "Friend of WWAACC"?
We are currently in the process of recruiting volunteers who like what we're doing and would like to help out with miscellaneous activities associated with WWAACC from time to time.
Activities may include helping with things such as: supplying refreshments for events, performing various administrative duties, distributing fliers, fundraising, volunteering at an event, or sharing other special skills with us when an opportunity arises to utilize them.
By becoming a “Friends of WWAACC” member you would be notified of our volunteer needs as they arise via a group e-mail. You would then have the opportunity to respond to whatever tasks you are comfortable and able to help with as your schedule allows.
If you would like to be involved with WWAACC in this way, please contact Debbie or Michele by phone at 715-381-8454 or via e-mail at friends@wwaacc.org.
WWAACC Resource Room is Now Open!
The WWAACC Resource Room contains books, videos and materials related to Autism Spectrum Disorders, as well as a personal computer with Boardmaker software for parents to create visual schedules and guides to support communication with their child.
The resource room will be available to parents and caregivers while their child is in therapy sessions at Special Children's Center located at: 2705 Enloe Street, Hudson, WI 54016.
Parents of children who do not participate in therapy services at Special Children's Center can access the resource room by contacting a WWAACC volunteer at info@wwaacc.org or 715- 381-8454 and scheduling a time. Since the resource room is also used for meetings, hours of availability may vary.
